Relic Hunter! is a pixel art digging/exploration game by developer, 111%. The game takes place in Ancient Egypt, as you dig through the pyramids is search for treasure. Each pyramid holds the mysterious stone tablets. The object is to collect the tablets by any means necessary. You’ll be met with traps and monsters that’ll try to hold you back. As you dig down, you’ll be able to pick up gold and gems to upgrade your tools. Relic Hunter definitely won’t be for everyone. It’s all about digging as far as you can, upgrading, and repeating. Each pyramid has you digging down further, so of course, that means more grinding. With that being said, Relic Hunter is still a lot of fun. There’s relics to find and quite a few secrets. If you don’t mind the grind, Relic Hunter is a fun little time-killer.
