Crystal Guardians is a reaction-based fighting game by indie developer, Puppy Hero under the Crescent Moon umbrella. You play as 2 of the Crystal Guardians as they go on a quest to recover the crystal shards from the “Evil Boss”. Fighting is all about testing your reflexes. Monsters will come at you from either side of the screen and you have to tap at the right time in order to kill them. Tap too soon and you’ll miss, tap too late and you’re hit. Each monster has their own unique speed and movement, so it’s all about finding a rhythm and knowing your “sweet spot”. Crystal Guardians is one of those easy to learn, hard to master games. But once you get the hang of things, it can really be a lot of fun. There’s 6 different classes to unlock, bonus levels, and a bunch of upgrades to grind for. If you’re a fan of fighting games or like a good challenge, Crystal Guardians is definitely worth checking out.
