(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time/money.)
Klee: Spacetime Cleaners is a fast paced auto-shooter by indie developer, noice2D. You play as a crew of “spacetime cleaners” that are out to clean up all the monsters and diffuse the intergalactic energy crisis. The game plays in portrait-mode with short and fast levels. Shooting is automatic once you get close enough to the enemies, so all you have to worry about is moving around and trying not to get killed. I was really surprised at how much I really like this game. It feels like a shmup (shoot em’ up) and an avoidance game made sweet love and had a baby. It’s fast, frantic, and has a ton of charm. The levels are randomly generated and there’s a ton of power-ups/gear to unlock. Klee is an absolute gem. It’s one of those games that I’ll be talking about at the end of the year when I’m making my lists. Definitely check this one out!
Klee: Spacetime Cleaners is also in this week’s iOS Roundup!
