(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time/money.)
Brawl Quest: Alice Brigade is an arcade beat ’em up by the team at ThinkBIT. Evil bosses have run rampant across Metro. Your job is to find out why and of course, stop them. You start off as Luwan, but eventually unlock several different characters. Each brawler has their own unique abilities and strengths using the paper/rock/scissors method. The game plays really well with the one-handed controls. You move your fighter around by just moving and swiping your thumb. Attacks are done by just tapping the screen. Visually, Brawl Quest is beautiful. The characters are charming with everything having a cartoonish look to it. I’ve been really digging this game so far. It’s a fun little beat ‘em up with a decent upgrade system. It’s of course F2P (free to play), so there’s the usual dual currency, IAPs, and timers. Luckily, the game feels pretty fair. So, if you’re looking for a fun little one-handed brawler, Brawl Quest: Alice Brigade is one definitely worth playing.
