(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time or money.)
I know that the whole “Ok Boomer!” meme has run its course, but you’ve got to give credit where credit is due. Boomer Simulator is a small racing game by Dreamon Studios where you’re up against the clock in your riding lawnmower as you take down those annoying “Zoomers”. The object is to cut the grass, run over the Zoomers, and get back to the garage in the quickest time possible. It’s a fun little game that I honestly wish there was more of! The levels are fast and frantic and I absolutely love the pixel art. The whole game reminds me of almost a weird Duke Nukem spinoff. There’s cheesy one-liners, over the top action, all we needed was some crazy lawnmower weapons to unlock. (The BFM maybe?) There’s not much else to the game. Just 9 quick levels and nothing else. I would have liked to see a little more, but Boomer Simulator is still a fun little game that’s worth a quick playthrough.
