Nameless Cat is a side scrolling platformer by Kotoba Games that recently released on the App Store. You play as a……well, a nameless kitten who has somehow stumbled upon a strange world and is looking to find its way back home. I was pleasantly surprised with this game. Nameless Cat is a solid platformer with quite a bit of dialogue. Levels are full of detail with all sorts of charming characters you’ll bump into. The game can get a bit difficult at times and some of the boss fights can be tricky. But, that’s a good thing in my opinion. Nameless Cat is platforming purrfection. The story is well written and the on-screen controls do an excellent job getting you through your journey. Also, the pixel art visuals are just as beautiful and the soundtrack. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up.
