Last Bastion is a fast paced castle defense-style game where you play as a love dwarf warrior who has sworn to stop the evil Demon Iacobus from invading the world and causing complete destruction. At its core, Last Bastion is a pretty solid, but standard tower defense game. Enemies come in from the right as you do your best to kill them all before they destroy your walls. Controls are as simple as moving your finger over the area you want to shoot. Even though Last Bastion may not bring anything new to the genre, but what it does, it does well. There are tons of unique enemies to kill, different arrows/ballistas to buy and upgrade, and a few surprises. There’s only 11 chapters in Last Bastion, but levels can go on for quite a while. Not to mention that you can unlock an endless mode once the campaign is over. All in all, Last Bastion is a solid defense game with enough polish and charm to keep you interested until it’s over. If you’re a fan of the genre, definitely check this one out.
