Skatepark Run is an endless runner-style skateboarding game that was recently released on the App Store by Go Real Games. It’s a simple game about getting as far as you can without bailing. I’ll be honest. At first glance, I assumed that Skatepark Run was just another F2P hyper-casual game that I comb through on the App Store daily. Luckily, I decided to try it out because this is a really solid game! Each run has you skating down an endless skatepark full of ramps, grinds, ledges, and stairs. The single v-stick controls work pretty well with simply letting off the screen to ollie and flicking the stick to do tricks. As you progress, you’ll earn coins from completing missions that you can use to purchase new boards, characters, and even upgrading your skills and power-ups. The only downside is that it does take a little while to “grind” for coins. You get a steady stream with missions, but things can get a bit pricey in the store. Regardless, Skatepark Run is a hell of a lot of fun and thankfully has enough content to keep you busy for quite a while. If you’re a fan of skateboarding games or just like endless runners, definitely check this one out!
