(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time or money.)
Mori Arashi is a physics-based action platformer by indie developer Nadare Games that was originally released on the App Store back in May of 2022. In this game you actually take control of multiple characters at once. With levels usually going vertically, you must pass through all sorts of traps and hazards while picking up as many of your friends along the way. (Think the Badlands series) Mori Arashi has a unique concept that translates fairly well for mobile. Although levels can get pretty tough to get through, they never feel impossible. What I really liked about this game is that it always kept things fresh. The developer didn’t just rely on the mechanic to sell the game. Each level was completely different from the next with boss fights, unique characters, and quite a few surprises. If you’re looking for something unique to play, definitely give Mori Arashi a try.
