You know, I didn’t think that there would be a survival game that could give Vampire Survivor a run for its money. Ultra Blade is Kyle Barret’s latest game that was recently released on the App Store. As I said, it’s a survival-style game where you are up against an endless mob of enemies and the objective is to last as long as you can. Runs can be short and brutal at times. The enemies in this game pull no punches. Luckily, as you progress, you’ll upgrade and unlock new heroes, powers, relics, etc. to help you out along your way. Heroes all have their own unique traits and ways of attacking to where the game completely feels different depending on which hero that you are using. It’s honestly hard to cram everything that Ultra Blade has to offer in a quick SNAPP Review. There are dozens of gauntlets to master, secrets to find, multiple classes, and a bunch more. I’ve sunk a few hours into the game and feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface. Ultra Blade is beautifully brutal and will have you coming back for more! If you’re a fan of survival-style games, this game is a must have!
