This one has been on my phone for awhile now and I’ve been meaning to write about it. Drifto was released on the App Store back in September of 2022. It’s an arcade drifting game by Jonathan Howe that’s similar to games like Thumb Drift and Hot Slide. With your vehicle auto-accelerating you control your angle of drift by sliding your thumb left or right. It’s a simple concept, but it’s done beautifully. The object is to get as far as you can and rack up enough points before you crash or hit a barrier. You earn coins depending on your score which can be used to purchase new vehicles and tracks. What’s cool is that all vehicles behave differently and the tracks are unique enough that it feels like a completely different game depending on what combination you are using. Drifto is a solid arcade racer/drifter with enough content to keep you playing for hours. If you’re a fan of racing games, this one is definitely worth checking out!
