Infinite Launch is an action game that was recently released on the App Store by Qookie Games. This is a game that’s all about colonizing planets. You control a rocket ship in a large open galaxy as you collect stars and fight off enemies. It actually took me quite awhile to get the hang of Infinite Launch. You basically have to collect stars in order to colonize a planet. With each planet needing a certain amount of stars to unlock, you spend a lot of time roaming around looking for stars to collect. If you crash before landing on a planet, you end up losing a percentage of your stars. You can also release satellites that will generate stars and give you a place to land. There’s quite a bit of depth to this game. So much that it can be a bit confusing at times. I’m honestly on the fence with Infinite Launch. It’s a bit rough around the edges and can be really repetitive for some. The visuals are primitive and the controls aren’t anything to write home about. But, there’s something about it that keeps me playing. There’s something charming about Infinite Launch. And as you start upgrading your ship and getting the hang of things, the game can actually be pretty fun. If you’re looking for something new to play, Infinite Launch is worth checking out for a buck. Just give it some time to show you it’s worth.
