Dead Ahead by Mobirite originally released back in 2013 way before SNAPP was even around. So, I never got a chance to review this one. Since then it’s been updated, pulled from the App Store, re-released, and now remastered. To those of you that never got a chance to play this gem, Dead Ahead is a post-apocalyptic side-scrolling endless runner. The object is to ride your scooter (at first) as far as you can before eventually being taken down by zombies or running into some sort of stationary thing. The controls have always been tight with sliding your left thumb up and down to move across the screen, while shooting behind you or doing wheelies with your right thumb. I played the hell out of this game back when it first launched and so much has been added since then. There are tons of missions to complete, multiple vehicles to purchase and upgrade, tons of weapons, and more. Dead Ahead has always been a stylish zombie killer. So, it’s hard to tell what has been updated with this remaster. Regardless, Dead Ahead is still one of the best endless runners on the App Store. If you’ve never gotten a chance to play it, or are like me and haven’t played the game in awhile, I highly recommend checking it out.
