Adventure Bike Trials is a side-scrolling trials-style “racing” game that was recently released on the App Store by developer Adam Rogan. The game has you making your way through multiple tracks filled with jumps and hazards in order to get the fastest time. The first thing I’ll say right off the bat is that this game is challenging! It doesn’t take much to land head-first in the dirt or over-correct yourself when trying to land a jump. With these types of games, I’m usually used to mashing the pedal until I cross the finish line. ABT takes a bit of finesse. You have to sensually caress those controls in order to not end up eating dirt. I’ll admit. I was a bit frustrated at first with the game. I was struggling just to get through the first level. But, once I figured out that ABT is not like the others out there, things started to really click with me. Adventure Bike Trials is a solid little racing game. There’s two different modes with “Journey” that’s more of a 3-star level based mode and then of course “Speed Run” which is all about getting to the finish line as fast as possible. As you progress, you’ll earn coins that you can use to purchase new bikes. I’ve been having a lot of fun with Adventure Bike Trials so far. The physics are nice and wonky (in a good way) and I absolutely love the whole campfire adventure theme. If you’re looking for a fun little challenge, definitely check out Adventure Bike Trials!
