(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time/money.)
Destiny of Khando is a pixel art action-adventure platformer by indie developer, Chenxiang Zhang. You play as the hero, Khando as he sets off on a journey to try and save the world from a powerful monster and his minions. The game takes you through 50 levels throughout 5 different worlds. Levels are well crafted with all sorts of platforming, traps, and enemies to fight. You can collect coins and use them to purchase new skills for yourself and your dragon. Destiny of Khando is actually a pretty solid game. The pixel art is super chunky and Ivan Maestri’s soundtrack is really catchy. The on-screen controls aren’t perfect. They could definitely use some tweaking or at least have the ability to customize them. Regardless, Destiny of Khando is definitely worth checking out.
Destiny of Khando is also in this week’s iOS Roundup!
