Ooh boy. How do I describe this game? Zombie Football is a football (and zombie) themed puzzle game by indie developer, Pixel Perfect Studios. So, you are the last player alive on your team and you need to carry them to victory against your zombie rivals. Basically, the object is to get in the end zone by any means necessary. What’s unique about the game is that you have a limited amount of stamina. The lower your stamina, the slower you move. Running into any type of obstacle or player will drastically drain your bar. So, you need to make use of the environment and use it to your advantage. Power-ups and speed zones are strategically placed throughout the field, so you really have to almost treat every level like a puzzle and memorize it. I’m really enjoying Zombie Football so far. It reminds me of a lot of games that were released in the early days of the App Store. There’s no shiny bells & whistles, no IAPs or timers. Just a solid level-based title with unique gameplay and smooth controls. If you’re looking for something a little different, Zombie Football definitely deserves a spot on your device.
