Exoloper is a tactical exosuit combat simulator and newest game to hit the App Store from Matthew Purchase. Exoloper has you taking control of enormous mech units as you take back your homeland from the evil Commonwealth. As you go through the campaign, you’ll take on different territories while scavenging new gear that you can install on your mech later on. Each territory is its own bit of chaos that you’ll need to survive. In between levels, you can tweak your loadout and customize your mech making each run feel different from the last. Games like Exoloper only release on the App Store every so often when all the stars align. It’s ridiculously deep, highly polished, and I honestly can’t stop playing it. Now, I will say that Exoloper is a challenging game. Levels can get overwhelming at times and it’s easy to get turned around while trying to control your mech. Especially when playing on the iPhone. And if you don’t extract from a mission before dying, you lose everything that you’ve collected. It took me a few runs to get my bearings and I’m still learning more as I go. Exoloper is an absolute gem and shows that mobile gaming can still be fun. If you’re a fan of shooters or action games, I highly recommend checking this one out!
