Grand Mountain Adventures 2 is an open world skiing/snowboarding game and sequel to the hit title with the same name. If you’ve never played the first game, it’s basically a top-down open world game where you explore different mountains looking for new slopes and completing missions. I was a HUGE fan of the original game, so I was pretty excited to see this one pop up on the App Store. GMA2 doesn’t start too far from the original formula, but expands on just about everything. The mountains have a lot more secrets and challenges to find, there are more slopes, and of course the addition of paragliding, zip lining, and speed skiing are a welcome addition. I’ve been having a blast with Grand Mountain Adventures 2 so far. It may not bring a whole lot new to the original game, but why change something that was already working so well? I will say that playing on an iPad is almost a must. The game does well on iPhone, but there is just so much to look at and miss on the smaller screen. Grand Mountain Adventures is in a league of its own. There are nothing like these games on the App Store. I can’t recommend this sequel enough.
