Formula 11 is a top-down F1-style racing game that was recently released on the App Store by developer Davihesoft. The game takes inspiration from the F1 cars and tracks from the 80’s. Now, I was never an F1 fan, but I love racing games. So I was excited to check this one out. Surprisingly, Formula 11 is actually a really solid game! Vehicle handling feels nice and weighty and the tracks are actually based off of real world F1 tracks. The Quick Race mode has you taking on 3 lap races. As you progress, you’ll unlock new tracks and vehicles. If you manage to make it through all 11 tracks, you’ll unlock a larger 11 lap mode. Formula11 isn’t for casual racing fans. The AI is pretty brutal and getting the hang of the vehicle handling and tire management takes a little while to perfect. But, if you like top-down racers and are in for a challenge, Formula 11 is dev worth checking out!
