Bricks Breaker RPG is an RPG that was recently released on the App Store by Whimbear Studios. The game plays out similar to most Brick Breaker-style games. You have a layout of numbered bricks and you need to break them all down with a series of balls. The set of bricks lower towards the bottom of the screen after each turn, so there is a sense of urgency within each level. What makes BBRPG unique is its progression system. As you play, you’ll earn experience, unlock new balls with unique abilities, and even magic (power-ups). This is where I had a lot of fun. Picking out your loadout prior to each level can completely change up each run. The game does a great job not feeling like your normal Brick Breaker game. There’s loot to find, boss fights, crafting, and a bunch more. Now, I will say that the game can be challenging at times. I was stuck at level 7 for quite awhile. But after grinding a little bit and unlocking a few new abilities, things got a little easier. Bricks Breaker mixes casual arcade-style gameplay with the depth of a solid role playing game. With hundreds of levels get get through, daily quests, an endless mode, this one is definitely worth checking out!
