This week publisher, Devolver Digital announced that their latest title, My Friend Pedro had an absolutely HUGE opening week on the Switch and PC. The game actually sold over 250,000 copies in its first week! To celebrate the game’s success, Devolver put together a “Behind the Schemes” video, introducing the man behind the banana, developer, Victor Ågren of DeadToast.
This has been Devolver’s biggest launch so far on the Switch, with Katana Zero next in line, selling 100,000 copies. I’m a little over halfway through the game and am loving every minute of it so far! I’ll have a review up once I finish it, but I’ll let you in on a little secret. “The game is really good. Just go buy it.” Shhh!
