Roller Riot is a reaction-based fighting game by the team over at MassDiGI. You play as CB, a genetically modified cyborg, as she gets her revenge on the robot roller derby gang. The game uses a pretty standard fighting system where you’re basically tapping on the left or right side of the screen as enemies approach you. Depending on which enemy is closer, that’s the side you tap. There’s a lot of these style games on the App Store, but Roller Riot does an exceptional job at it. There’s a bit of grinding and some roguelike elements to the game. You start over after every run, but when you die, you’ll earn power-ups that you can use on future runs. That’s honestly about it. Roller Riot is just a fun high-score chaser with some absolutely beautiful visuals and character design. If you’re looking for something new to test your reflexes, Roller Riot is definitely worth checking out!
