Pocket Square iOS SNAPP REVIEW!

(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time/money.)

I love running across unique little games like this on the App Store. Pocket Square is personal “virtual console” created by indie developer, Cody Mace. It’s basically a compilation of 12 classic games in a package that “resembles” the original GameBoy. Every game is created with squares. From Basketball, to Brick Breaker, you’ll be staring at green squares. The controls are just as basic with a single button to control all 12 games. I’ve really been enjoying Pocket Square. It’s simple and actually kind of unique. All 12 games are high-score chasers with global leaderboards if that’s your thing. It’s a great collection to have when your just trying to kill a few minutes while in line somewhere. If you’re looking for something with four corners to play, Pocket Square is worth checking out.
