Mole Playing iOS SNAPP REVIEW!

(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time/money.)

Mole Playing is a casual reaction-based RPG by indie developer, Junhak Kim at Incago Studio. It’s an endless game that has you entering commands to get as far as you can through a castle. A stamina bar at the top of the screen is constantly draining. Entering the correct commands to move, fill the bar, while entering the wrong command drains it. The further you get, the higher your score. As you progress, you’ll earn experience and level up like your standard RPG. There’s also coins to collect to purchase new weapons, armor, and even new levels. The gameplay isn’t anything we haven’t seen before. There’s a lot of games on the App Store with these mechanics. But, Mole Playing is done really well. The pixel art is good with a cute cast of characters, the background music fits the theme, and overall it’s a pretty fun little game.

Mole Playing is also in this week’s iOS Roundup.
