I love finding weird and wacky games on the App Store. They always end up getting overlooked for whatever reason. This is one of those games. Freaky Bodyguard is an odd little game by Poler Studio where the object is to get your drunk dad home safely by any means possible. Your Pops has apparently had one too many drinks after a work party and decides to walk home. Unfortunately, he doesn’t watch out for anything. Your job is to clear his way as he stumbles along. This means kicking dogs, people, cars, whatever you think would trip old dad up. It gets tough because your drunk dad will stumble on his own too. If this happens, you’ll need to catch him before he falls. It’s frantic and even frustrating at times, but I found myself laughing out loud at some of the crazy stuff going on during the levels. You can also collect coins for upgrading power-ups in the vending machine and unlock backstories for some of the characters in the game. If you’re looking for something different, Freaky Bodyguard is a weird little game that’s definitely worth checking out.
