Pinball Soccer World is FarSight Studios’s newest pinball game to release on the App Store. This one’s a bit different from their usual titles. It’s got more of an over-the-top cartoonish look to it that I absolutely love. The game is played like your normal pinball game except that there’s a soccer net at the top of the “table”. Of course, the object is to score goals like in any soccer game. Pinball Soccer World blends everything together flawlessly. The game is so much fun to play. The tables get absolutely ridiculous the further you get with players on the field, goalies, and anything else you can think of. In between games, you can unlock all sorts of different balls, flippers, fields, etc. each with their own unique powers and abilities. I honestly couldn’t stop playing after I fired it up for the first time. The game is fast, frantic, and so much fun. Yea, the game is F2P (free to play) and has the usual prize wheel and random loot drops, but everything feels really fair and balanced. I also noticed that hardcore pinball fans are upset that the developer put out an arcade title rather than another “official” table, but I personally am really impressed with this game. Sure, I’ve never been a fan of soccer, but I love themed pinball games and FarSight did an excellent job with Pinball Soccer World. Do yourself a favor and check this game out.
