WE FINALLY HAVE ANOTHER SNAPP CHALLENGE GLITCHES!!
It’s tough trying to find the perfect SNAPP Challenge. There’s actually a lot that goes into finding the right game. I usually try to find a title from a smaller developer and in the current week’s iOS Roundup. Then, there’s the reader’s preferences. It can’t be a tilt-based game, it has to have some sort of leaderboards/GameCenter, no upgrades or continues (we use the honor system for continues), and the game can’t take too long to play. Ready Set Goat! ticks all of them boxes I think. It’s a pixel art high-score chaser by James Tyrrell where play as a goat defending it’s home from “Creeps”. RSG! is one of those easy to learn, hard to master games. The object is to last as long as you can while waves of Creeps try to attack you. Jumping on top of enemies will kill them and help you last longer. The one-button controls are simple with just tapping on the screen to jump. Runs are fast, frantic, and of course fun. Ready Set Goat! is all about getting that high score. There’s no unlockables, IAPs, or even ads.
