Beyond This Side is a point & click adventure game by Glim Games that was originally on PC and was recently brought to mobile by Crescent Moon. You play as a guy named Sam whose wife mysteriously disappeared only to find her severed hand in a trash can in the alley. Without spoiling too much, I’ll just say that the story takes some pretty crazy turns throughout the game and I’ve been loving every minute of it. I don’t normally play a lot of point & click games, but I was hooked on this one as soon as I loaded it up. The story is well written and interesting enough to keep you wanting to know what happens next. (I always love a good mystery.) What I really like about Beyond This Side is that it does a good job not feeling like your standard point & click game. There’s puzzles and mini-games mixed in with some unique camera angles that make the game stand out on its own. As you can tell, I’ve been having a lot of fun with Beyond This Side so far. It’s dark, interesting, and absolutely beautiful to look at. If you’re a fan of point & click games or like a good mystery, this game shouldn’t be missed.
