Planit Rabbit iOS SNAPP REVIEW!

(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time or money.)

Planit Rabbit is a Lunar Lander inspired arcade game that recently released on the App Store by the team at Polyspice. There are a bunch of pet rabbits that are stranded on several different planets and your job is to of course, rescue them. Planit Rabbit kind of plays like one long endless game. You’ll fly from tower to tower saving rabbits and dropping them off at the homebase. Completing missions and saving rabbits will earn you coins which you can use to upgrade your ship or buy new ones. The game looks friendly with the cute cartoon visuals, but there’s definitely some strategy involved if you want to get anywhere. You’ll have to pay attention to your fuel and damage to make sure you can make it to the next drop off. Things start off pretty easy with just open air between you and your stranded rabbits, but eventually you’ll start coming across enemies shooting at you, deep caverns, and more. Planit Rabbit plays in portrait mode with just a single v-stick to maneuver around. I’ve got to say that the developer did an excellent job on the controls and UI. I really like the whole look and feel of the game. It’s charming, challenging, but most of all, fun. Planit Rabbit is a fresh new take on an old classic.
