Jumping Slime is a 2D platformer that recently released on the App Store with very little attention. You play as a little slime ball as you try to navigate through 21 levels full of hazards. I was pleasantly surprised with how good this game actually is. The levels are long and well thought out with tons of platforming action. Jumping Slime is much more than just “jumping” though. You can transform into a cannon and shoot down walls and even attack oncoming enemies. As you progress, you can collect coins and use them to upgrade things like your cannon, HP, attack power, and more. Jumping Slime is a charming platformer that reminds me of the old “doodle” games of the past. Sure, it’s a little rough around the edges, but it’s still a lot of fun. If you’re a fan of platformers, Jumping Slime is a game that definitely deserves the extra attention.
