Witch’s Justice iOS SNAPP Review!

(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time or money.)

Witch’s Justice is a pixel art roguelike shooting game by indie developer Kazuya Kamioka that was recently released on the App Store. It’s a simple game where you’re basically just a witch that’s killing weird little monsters. What I really liked about this game is the fact that along with the satisfying auto-shooting, it’s also a vertical platformer. The object is to get through each level while killing every monster. At the end of the level, you’ll choose an upgrade and go onto the next. Upgrades stack, but once you die, you lose everything. As you progress, you’ll earn coins that you can use to upgrade your HP, attack, defense, etc. permanently. Witch’s Justice may not be the best thing out there, but it’s not trying to be. It’s just a simple roguelike that’s a lot of fun to play.
