Knight Dungeons iOS Review!

(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time or money.)

Knight Dungeons (or Apple Knight Dungeons) is kind of a sequel to the 2020 iOS gem by Limitless, Apple Knight. Knight Dungeons is an action-platformer that takes a lot that made the original game fun and adds things like wall jumps, parrys, dashing, and more. There’s no story involved in this game though. Knight Dungeons just throws you right into the action after a brief tutorial. From there, you’re faced with roughly 50 levels full of secrets, treasure chests, coins, gems, and apples. Tons of apples! 🍎I’m trying not to compare the two games too much, but I will say that the AI is way better this time around. Enemies will actually chase you if they see you. Knight Dungeons is a great spinoff of a beloved classic. Even though I miss having a little story, it’s definitely the better game in every way. The controls are tight (I prefer the joystick), the level design is good, and there are a ton of characters and weapons to unlock/upgrade. If you liked Apple Knight, you’ll definitely like Knight Dungeons.
