Tingus Goose iOS SNAPP Review!

(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time or money.)

Tingus Goose is an idle game that was recently released on the App Store by SweatyChair. I’ll say it again. I love me some weird games and I think Tingus Goose is one of the weirdest games I’ve played in awhile. The core game loop has you growing duck trees. These are trees with a goose’s head that grows out of a pregnant person’s body. (Told you it was weird!) As the goose tree grows, it shoots babies out that give you currency when tapping on them. You’ll then use the currency to water the tree for it to grow, rinse and repeat. As far as gameplay goes, Tingus Goose is pretty standard for an idle game. You’re basically tapping and waiting on timers. What makes this game worth play is the absolute absurdness of it. Every tree is weirder than the last. By tree number three, I was pooping balloons and tapping on flying pigs as babies rained from the sky. All in all, Tingus Goose is a solid idle game that’s worth tapping on for a few minutes here and there. There’s quite a few trees to grow and plenty of things to collect. Even if you’re not a fan of idle games, Tingus Goose is worth checking out for the odd entertainment alone.

Tingus Goose is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup!
