Faces+ is an atmospheric platformer game that was recently released on the App Store by Unholy Games. It’s a simple premise where you control a constantly bouncing white ball as you try to make your way through each section without touching anything black on the screen. The controls are as easy as tapping on the left and right sides of the screen to bounce left or right. Faces+ is a challenging game for sure. What makes the game tough boils down to just level design. As you make your way through each section, platforms move, change shape, and color forcing you to strategize every move you make. Unfortunately, the ball never stops moving, so you’ve got to be quick with your decisions. Faces+ is definitely one of those “easy to learn/hard to master” games. It’s absolutely beautiful to look at and there’s some clever design choices. Just be prepared to try things over and over and over. Luckily, there are plenty of save-spots, so you never lose too much progress. If you’re looking for a challenge, Faces+ is definitely worth checking out.
