Extreme Crazy Bowling iOS SNAPP Review!

(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time or money.)

Alright. It’s time for me to showcase another weird game I’m liking. Extreme Crazy bowling is……well, it’s a bowling game that was recently released on the App Store by Japanese developer Satoki Zaima. At its core, ECB is a pretty standard arcade-style bowling game. You swipe in the direction that you want the ball to roll and try to knock as many pins down as possible. That’s kind of where the “normal” part of the game ends. It’s all about scoring the highest score by any means necessary. This can mean rolling your ball in your opponent’s lane to double your score or using different balls with special abilities. There are walls in between lanes that you will need to break down or bounce over first in order to hit your opponent’s pins. Once that is done, you need to make sure an opponent isn’t bowing at the time or you will get points deducted for “bad manners”. Another thing is that you start off with 10 pins on the lane, but as you progress, more pins are added. By the 10th frame, you can have up to 50 pins to knock down. Extreme Crazy Bowling is an odd game that throws something new at you every time you play. From driving cars down the lane to hitting the ball down the lane with a bat. Even though the bowling is “extreme” and “crazy”, I will say that the game probably won’t keep your attention for very long. With no campaign or GameCenter leaderboards, there’s not much to play for outside of the local high scores. Regardless, Extreme Crazy Bowling is a fun little distraction that’s at least worth checking out for a couple matches.
