Landslide is an endless runner-style game by Cozy Labs that was recently released on the App Store. You play as “Cozy” (at first) a cute little skateboarding bird as you Grind your way downhill and dodge obstacles before your inevitable bailout. Landslide is a simple high-score chaser with very little bells and whistles. You can earn coins to unlock new characters and that’s about it. There’s not much to this game, but for some reason I can’t stop playing it. There’s something about its cute visuals and simple controls that keep me coming back for more. Landslide’s biggest flaw is the lack of GameCenter leaderboards. Normally, I could care less about achievements and leaderboards, but for a game like this where its main objective is to see how far you can go, it’s necessary to have some sort of leaderboard. I want to know how many people that I’ve beaten with my high scores! I NEED to know these things! Regardless, Landslide is a cute endless runner that’ll at least keep you busy for a little while. Unfortunately, I don’t see much longevity with this game without the addition of leaderboards.
