(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time or money.)
Close Cities is a 2D puzzle game that was recently released on the App Store by developer Juanma Altamirano. It’s a game where you need to build miniature cities in order to complete each King’s kingdom. Each level will have a certain amount of cities that need to be built along X amount of roadways. Cities have to have a roadway to be built, but cannot touch each other. It’s a simple concept that is done really well. The game starts off pretty easy to where I almost uninstalled it. But, once you get past the initial 10 stages or so, Close Cities really gets going. Normally I’m not a huge fan of puzzle games, but I’ve been having a lot of fun with this one. Close Cities is strategic, charming, and I really like the theme/art. And with 160 levels throughout 10 differently themed kingdoms, there’s a decent amount of content. If you’re a fan of casual puzzle games, Close Cities is definitely worth checking out.
Close Cities is also in this week’s SNAPP Roundup!
You will start each level with an empty map that you will have to fill with beautiful citie…
