Rogue Strikes is an arcade dungeon crawler that recently released on the App Store by Ludigames. It’s a casual game where you are faced against waves of enemies as you try and make your way through villages, forests, castles, and more. What makes Rogue Strikes unique is that it uses slingshot controls to fling you at enemies. There’s actually a bit of strategy involved by aiming and bouncing off of obstacles and other baddies to earn combos. As you progress, you’ll earn power-ups and upgrades to help you get through each run. I’m honestly surprised that this game didn’t get more attention. It’s fast paced and has quite a bit of depth to it. There’s 93 waves across 4 worlds and an Endless Mode that can be unlocked once finishing them all. Rogue Strikes is of course, F2P (free to play), so there’s the usual dual currency and “energy” timer, but the game still feels pretty fair. If you can get past that, Rogue Strikes is a fun little casual roguelike with a cool art style.
