(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time/money.)
I’ve always been a fan of games by Game Stew. They are smaller games built for mobile, but have just enough depth to keep you playing. Adventure Pinball is no exception. It’s a pixel art pinball game mixed with a bit of adventure/RPG. The story is pretty vague, but it’s there. You’re basically trying to save the world from the Dark Queen. The game itself plays like your standard pinball game with left and right flippers and a ball. What’s unique is that you’re playing on an ever-changing “table”. There’s different rooms to go in, dungeons to crawl and all sorts of secrets to find. Games can get pretty long with everything going on. I had one run that lasted me 30 minutes straight. Luckily, you can pause the game and save the room that you’re in if you need to stop playing. Adventure Pinball is a hell of a lot of fun. There’s different equipment to collect, boss fights, and a lot of surprises. If you’re looking for something unique, this one is definitely worth picking up. If you’re a fan of Game Stew games, then you should already have it!
