Machinaero iOS SNAPP REVIEW!

(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time/money.)

Machinaero is a really unique building/simulation/survival game by indie developer, Emoak. It’s one of those games where you get out what you put into it. Some may not even call Machinaero a “game”. There’s no story, no levels, no ending (that I know of). After a brief character customization and a couple tips, you’re left on a deserted island to do what you want. You can sit there and starve to death, craft a shovel and start digging, or see what else is out there by crafting something that’ll fly or float past the horizon. That’s honestly the best part of Machinaero. Not knowing what else is out there and just exploring. Sure, the game isn’t perfect. It may not look the greatest and it takes a little getting used to the controls. But, that’s part of its charm I think. If you’re a fan of crafting games or are just looking for something a little different, Machinaero is definitely worth checking out.

Machinaero is also in this week’s iOS Roundup!
