(From The Attic is a way for us to bring new life to older titles. With so many games releasing on the App Store on a daily basis, it’s easy to overlook a game or two or forget about a game you once played, but never finished.)
With all this extra time during the quarantine, I’ve been digging around and finding some old snuggets to write about. This week’s game from the attic is Time Crash by 8SEC. It’s a paid title that released back in 2017 before the developer moved over to hyper-casual games. Time Crash is a first-person parkour game where you play as a secret agent that’s trying to infiltrate the Time Corp Laboratories building and find an unknown anomaly that’s threatening the city. Time Crash was/is action packed with busting through doors, running on walls, gliding down ziplines, and more. All while trying to dodge and fight off Time Corp goons. The game is fast paced and frantic at times. One wrong move and it’s game over. Besides the 15 level story mode, there’s also an Endless Mode and Daily Challenges. Time Crash may be considered “old” by mobile standards, but it looks and plays just as well as some of the best games out today. It also plays well on current gen devices. It’s sad that there was never a sequel to this game. Regardless, if you never got a chance to check this one out, Time Crash is definitely worth picking up.
