It’s been a little while since we’ve seen a new one from Chinykian Games! I’ve always been a huge fan of this solo dev’s titles. A Slight Chance of Sawblades is his newest game to hit the App Store. It’s a pixel art high-score chaser where saw blades are constantly raining down on you. Points are gained for every saw blade that you jump over. It’s a fast paced game where you will die over and over and over. It sounds simple, but it’s a hard game to master. Although I’m not the greatest at ASCoS, I can’t stop playing it. It definitely has that “just one more try” thing going on. If you’re a fan of high-score chasers and GameCenter leaderboards, A Slight Chance of Sawblades is definitely worth picking up. The controls are super tight and gameplay is addictive. It also has a unique “ticket” system for unlocking new characters. Basically, the more you play, the more tickets you earn. So, do yourself a favor and give this game a try. Who knows. Maybe we’ll bring back the old SNAPP Challenge with this one! (I’m at 14 saws right now)
