Trail Boss BMX is the newest BMX title by indie developer, Yeah Us! If you’ve played any of the Pumped BMX series over the years, you’ll already know that the games usually play as a side-scroller. This time around, they have gone full 3D with the levels as you carve down trails and hit tricks off of anything you can find. The controls are what make this game in my opinion. Everything is done with swipes and taps. Each run feels almost fluid once you get the hang of things. There are 40 different levels with 360 challenges starting with “Novice”, all the way to “Boss” difficulty. The game can be a bit tough at first. There’s a lot of moves to remember and pulling off the perfect run can take quite a few tries. That’s all part of the fun though. My only gripe is that I wish that you could customize your bike a little more. You can paint just about every single part on your ride, but that’s about it. I would have liked to have been able to switch out new wheels, handlebars, etc. Regardless, Trail Boss BMX is one of the best BMX games I’ve played on iOS. If you’re a fan of the BMX/racing genre, this game is a must-have.
