(SNAPP Reviews aren’t really full-fledged game reviews as much as they are just a way for us to give you a quick “heads-up” on whether a game is good or not. It usually means that we haven’t finished the game yet, but have played a good enough chunk to know if it’s worth your time or money.)
It’s that time again! Time for another SNAPP Challenge!!
Last week’s turnout wasn’t that great with the game I picked. It’s always a toss up on how people are going to react. Hopefully everyone will like this week’s game. Crashy Cats is a pixel art high-score chaser that recently released on the App Store by the team at Electric Turtle. The game is an endless runner where you control a cat that is wreaking havoc in the house. The object is to destroy as much as possible by jumping on or knocking things over. Your cat runs automatically, so all you have to do is tap the screen to jump. The game is scored by dollar amount, so the more valuable things you wreck, the better. Crashy Cats is a fun little game with a decent amount of polish. There’s GameCenter leaderboards and of course, tons of different cats/outfits to unlock. That makes it puuuurrfect for this week’s SNAPP Challenge! (See what I did there? Cat jokes.)
If you want to get all up in this week’s action, just post a screenshot of your high score on social media with the hashtag #SNAPPChallenge. You can also join us in our Discord! Winners are usually announced on Monday.
Crashy Cats is also in this week’s iOS Roundup!
